Home staging sells the house and so much more.

As the owner of Perfect Place Home Staging I have staged all kinds of homes to sell, and the story of this particular home is one of my favorites.

I was hired by an area businessman who had been trying desperately to sell a brand new home that he built as real estate investment.  He did not build this home to live in; it was constructed for the sole purpose of selling it for a profit.  Unfortunately, that was not happening.  This property had been listed and on the market for many months without a single offer, and when I toured his beautiful investment I quickly realized why.

The main living room in this house was very long and narrow, and had few wall areas to define the space.  When potential buyers visited they couldn’t visualize how to arrange the room.  “Where does the TV go?  What about the sofa? There’s no way to make this room work!”  I understood this room’s specific needs, so I carefully crafted my staging plan and my new client set me up with a budget.  He hired me to shop for and buy all the furniture and accents needed to stage the living space.  Within 2 days I had everything purchased and completely staged the room.

My client was very impressed with the new living space, and soon thereafter a home buyer was too!  The house sold a few short weeks after my staging was complete!  Turns out the home buyers loved the living room so much they not only bought the house… they also bought all the new furniture too!    
Now that’s what I call “Double the Bang for your Home Staging Buck”!
